Award Notification
Award notification information has been added to inform students of communication pertaining to
Federal Financial Aid, effective September 4, 2014.
Students interested in applying for federal financial aid must submit a Free Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA). This may be done online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
The Financial Aid Office will provide the student with an estimated award letter based on the information provided on FAFSA. Additional documentation to support the student’s request for financial assistance, if FAFSA is selected for verification or new information is received, may be requested. Awards are finalized after receipt and review of all requested verification documentation. Final award letters are posted to the WCU secured student portal each academic year at
https://myportal.westcoastuniversity.edu/secure/student/loginstu.aspx.
Financial Aid is awarded on an academic-year basis and it is not automatically renewed. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available on January 1st of each calendar year, and must be completed and submitted for each academic year of attendance.
