PA 534 Applied Anatomy & Physiology II with Lab and Clinical Immersion
Illustrates understanding of the relationships between the structures and functions of the human body relevant to the physician assistant. Emphasis is placed on the relationship of normal structures and normal anatomical and physiological variants of surface anatomy, macroscopic and microscopic related structures and cells. Focuses on concepts, mechanisms, and principles of cells, tissue, and organs and features for application to clinical practice. Educational delivery is based on organ systems and regional anatomy. Experiential laboratory learning emphasizes and reinforces the location, function, and anatomical relationship of organ systems and structures that will help with physical examination techniques and clinical procedures. Course delivery methods utilize 3-D anatomy virtual software and hardware, virtual cadaver and applications. On-campus immersion experience facilitated by program faculty to solidify learning and develop skills and concepts.
