Withdrawal from a Program
Official Withdrawal
Students who wish to withdraw from their program should contact their dean to engage in the process to do so. West Coast University is required to take attendance, and therefore a student's withdrawal date is the last date of attendance as determined by the school from its attendance records. A withdrawal request should be submitted in writing using the Course/University withdrawal form with all appropriate signatures, then returned to the Registrar's office.
Unofficial Withdrawal
Students who cease to attend classes without notifying the University of their intent to terminate attendance are considered to have unofficially withdrawn. West Coast University is required to take attendance, and, therefore, a student's withdrawal date is the last date of attendance as determined by the school from its attendance records. Class attendance is monitored to identify absences in excess of the published Attendance Policy for each academic program.
