Continues advancing instruction on pharmacology and pharmacotherapeutics as they pertain to patient counseling/education, prescriptions, non-prescriptions, and therapeutic agents. General pharmacology principles, drug mechanisms of action, appropriate selection, and rationale use in the prevention and treatment of diseases across major classes of therapeutic agents are practiced. Medication management, understanding of pharmacodynamics, side-effects, and toxicities are taught with a focus on neuro, pulmonary, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, renal.
