Student Identity Documentation
All students are required to verify their identity by submitting a copy of a signed, unexpired, government-issued photo identification to the Financial Aid Office no later than their first day of attendance. Military IDs will never be photocopied. The Financial Aid Office will document that an original military ID was presented but no photocopy will be retained pursuant to Title 18, US Code Part I, Chapter 33, Section 701. This policy applies to all students, whether or not the student applies for financial assistance. The University reserves the right to request original or additional identity documents, at the University's sole discretion. Requests for exceptions to this policy must be requested in writing via the Student Identity Documentation Exception form, and approved by the Campus Executive Director. Students that are approved for an exception will be required to provide valid identity documents within 12 months of starting school. Note, some students may be required to provide approved documents sooner based on core or clinical course requirements.
