PHRM 779 IPC Supplemental I

Applies anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and pharmacotherapy concepts to manage patients who present with nausea, vomiting and urologic disorders. In addition, topics related to pediatrics, pregnancy, and lactation, women’s health, geriatrics, and men’s health are discussed. The clinical presentation, course of illness, assessment of patients, monitoring, epidemiology of the disease as well as treatment, and preventative measures using pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches are evaluated. Integrates knowledge from biomedical, pharmaceutical and clinical sciences to develop evidence-based therapeutic recommendations. IPC Supplemental I is the first course in a series of two IPC Supplemental courses.
