PT 703 Human Physiology

Provides a comprehensive overview of human physiology, and emphasizes the integration of physiological systems, the mechanisms by which the body maintains balance, the function and
regulation of organ systems and how they work together to maintain overall health and homeostasis most relevant to the physical therapy practice. Considers the normal and abnormal muscle and nerve physiological function, growth and repair of bone and soft tissue, cardiopulmonary system functions, nutrition and digestion, endocrine regulation of metabolism, homeostasis and kidney function, as well as the microscopic and submicroscopic structure of mammalian tissue.
