SLP 540 Foundations of Literacy Disorders with Lab

Examines theories of reading acquisition and scientific based research principles that undergird literacy acquisition, development and instructional practices. Emphases will be based on the acquisition of literacy in listening, speaking, reading and writing across the life span. The lab will integrate the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
